I started making art back in 2015-ish.

A freind asked me to create some painted surfboard cutouts for the school festival and I went nuts. I made them out of cardboard, wood. I made a lot and from there I didn’t stop creating art for several years.

at one point I quit. Now i’m back at it. the comeback started in 2024-25 after a bout with cancer.

I now set no expectations (ok i try) but my style has changed in many ways.

what used to be art inspired by wild energy is now more often filled with a focused intention-mixed in with wild energy sometimes.

at the time of this writing I am still developing my style and my skills (a lifelong quest I’m sure.)

i find myself defaulting to wild paint flying all over and texture once in a while, but now i prefer a more focused approach-most of the time.

currently i’m exploring incorporating that unrestrained energy that surrounds us all with more figurative expressions, whether that be the human form or animals (it seems I like drawing birds and cats, which i’m allergic to by the way.)

I’m also doing the opposite. exploring the creation of art for zen tranquility. infusing calm meditation into the work.

i do custom commissions and am open to licensing images as well.

also in the near future i’ll have t-shirts (i love artsy t’s) and possibly other swag (definitely prints) available.
